How to use the Stamppi™?
Follow these steps for a perfect imprint

After receiving your Stamppi™
After shipping, the ink is unevenly distributed in the stamp. Let your Stamppi™ stand upright for 2 hours before use, so the ink can settle back evenly.
Before using it on clothing
Stamp on a sheet of paper at least 10/20 times, pressing gently, until the imprint is perfect (not too thick).
Dab on garment
Make sure you're on a flat, hard surface (table). Avoid holding the stamp on the garment for too long. Once you've lined up the position, press briefly (1 to 2 seconds), then lift immediately. Pressing for too long gives the ink time to seep into the fabric, which increases the risk of bleed-through.
Our recommendations before use

Let it stand upright for two hours so the ink spreads evenly through the stamp.
Stamp on a sheet of paper to release the excess ink before using it on clothing. You can stamp up to 1000 times.
Do the marking on a smooth, hard surface (table).
Apply even, moderate pressure.
Stamp quickly and lift right away (1 to 2 seconds).
Use iron-on tape on thin and dark clothes.
Let dry for at least 24 hours.
NOT TO DO
Do not stamp on clothing that is too thin, the ink may bleed through; use iron-on tape.
Do not stamp on synthetic materials like nylon or on the labels inside the garment. Some materials absorb the ink like a sponge instead of holding it.
Avoid fabrics that are too thin and loose: if the fabric is very light and loose (like some tulles or knits with large gaps), the ink naturally penetrates more easily.
Do not stamp on a soft surface or the imprint won't show up completely; do it on a table, for example.
Do not press for too long. Pressing for too long gives the ink time to seep into the fabric, which increases the risk of bleed-through.
🚨Knit or fleece fabric
Whenever possible, try to stamp on a smooth fabric: knits and other fleece fabrics absorb the ink and create a smudgy effect that makes the imprint unreadable.
Frequently Asked Questions
We strongly recommend avoiding the stamp on the following fabrics: silk, satin, lace, cashmere, or any delicate fabric. The ink wasn't designed or tested for these types of textiles, which could cause it to spread, lose sharpness in the wash, or fade early.
You can stamp on wool and suede, but keep in mind that the ink isn't specifically formulated to hold up through many washes on these fabrics. So if you plan to wash these items down the road, it's better not to stamp them.
Also note that we strongly advise against stamping clothing labels made of satin acetate, silk, nylon, or polyester.
Ink generally requires about 1 hour for complete drying on most fabrics, although this time can extend up to 24 hours for some materials.
If the ink is still wet after a day, it is recommended to use a hair dryer to speed up the drying process.
Certainly, you have the option to apply our stamp on thin clothing. However, we strongly recommend using the 50 cm white adhesive tape included in each order to prevent any ink from bleeding through the fabric.
You just need to cut the strip to the required length, place the patch on it, wait a few minutes for it to dry, then run a low-heat iron over the strip.
Certainly, you have the option to apply our stamp on black clothing.
Two choices are offered to you:

- The white ink pad
It's the same principle as with black ink; however, since the ink is more fragile, we recommend letting the ink dry for 24 hours.
It's an ink designed to withstand 50 washes at 30°.
It is recommended to wait 24 hours before washing the garment. This way you will be sure that the ink is completely dry.
